About Bob Klein:
Mr. Klein began studying traditional healing and martial arts in the 1960’s. He received his Tai-chi-Chuan teaching certificate from Grandmaster William C. C. Chen after many years of study. At the same time he persued a career in zoology, working with hundreds of species of animals both in captivity and in the wild, including several long trips to the jungles of Central America.
By studying the animal movements of Tai-chi and Zookinesis (a form of chi-gung based on animal movements) at the same time as working with wild animals, Mr. Klein gained a variety of skills of movement.
He has taught Tai-chi-Chuan and Zookinesis to thousands of students at his Long Island School of Tai-chi-Chuan and at other Tai-chi schools, hospitals, universities and senior centers around the country. Bob is the author of the books, “Movements of Magic – the Spirit of Tai-chi-Chuan”, “Movements of Power – Ancient Secrets of Unleashing Instinctual Vitality” and the adventure novel, “The Doubting Snake” based on his adventures in Central America.
Mr. Klein has produced over 60 instructional dvds on fitness, Tai-chi, massage and the martial arts. He also provides Tai-chi massage, a form of acupressure, at his school which is surrounded by beautiful gardens.
